The WV Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit was formed at West Virginia University on July 1, 1986. The WV Unit is a partnership among the U.S. Geological Survey, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources and the Division of Forestry and Natural Resources at WVU.
