The West Virginia Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit is a partnership between the U.S. Geological Survey, the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources, West Virginia University, the Wildlife Management Institute and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Representatives from this partnership meet annually at the Unit Coordinating meeting to identify cooperator needs, set research priorities and discuss the direction of the Unit.
