Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Units Program: Maine
Education, Research and Technical Assistance for Managing Our Natural Resources

Maine Education Activities

Jordan Pond, Acadia National Park.

As part of the mission of the Cooperative Research Units program, the unit scientists participate in graduate education at the host university. Unit scientists supervise graduate student thesis and dissertation research, supervise Post-Doctoral Associates, participate in graduate student advisory committees as chair, co-chair, or committee member, teach graduate level courses, and provide instruction for our cooperators as needed.
