We will evaluate projected climate change effects on ~30 conifer species occupying the mid-dry latitudes of Western North America. Project elements include: (i) statistical downscaling of regional GCMs; (ii) development of species distribution models linked to climate; and modelling of distribution leading and trailing edges under projected climate change.
