This was a one day course taught at the 2012 annual meeting of the The Wildlife Society. Participants were provided with an overview of structured decision-making with an emphasis on wildlife resource applications. We also introduced adaptive resource management (ARM) as a special case of SDM that involves sequential dynamic decision-making. Our primary aim was to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of SDM process and techniques in a format that that did not require extensive quantitative understanding and skills.
