The Unit consists of two federal scientists and one administrative specialist. The Unit Leader provides oversight to all Unit activities. Federal scientists hold faculty rank at Humboldt State University, teach courses and workshops for graduate students and cooperators, and conduct research on a wide variety of natural resource topics. Research projects typically support graduate students and post-docs.

The College of Natural Resources and Sciences at Humboldt State University is the home of the California Unit. We are located in the Fisheries and Wildlife Building.
