Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Units Program: Arkansas
Education, Research and Technical Assistance for Managing Our Natural Resources

Arkansas Diversity and Inclusion

A juvenile armadillo has recently emerged from its burrow for the first time - the Arkansas Cooperative Research Unit is studying the animal communities that rely upon Armadillo burrows across all of Arkansas.

Diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice are vital to our mission in the Cooperative Research Units. We are dedicated to building a culture of inclusivity and respect through graduate education, research, and technical assistance. We oppose discrimination and racism in all of their forms and embrace diversity as a source of strength, ingenuity, and inspiration. We also acknowledge, with respect, that the lands and waters on which we perform research and teaching are the traditional and ancestral homelands of indigenous Nations and peoples.
