Provided expert opinions to biologists in US Bureau of Land Management and Arizona Game and Fish Department regarding efforts to revegetate a large burned area along the Colorado River to help restore habitat for the state-endangered California Black Rail. The 2 agencies were developing a management plan for the revegetation effort and the scientist exchanged many emails and had numerous phone conversations with them to advise them with their revegetation plan.
