I conduct diversity training for almost all faculty search committees and promotion and tenure committees at Montana State University. The training is described in Smith et al. 2015 (doi: 10.1093/biosci/biv138). About 15 such committees, each made up of about 5 members, are trained per year. Zale May 2017
As Chair of the Montana State University Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, I train all members of the Committee in animal care and use regulations and practices annually. In addition, all new MSU animal research PIs and students are trained on these issues monthly in a required orientation session, but the training is primarily extended by the IACUC administrative staff. I fill in for them 2 or 3 times per year as needed. Zale June 2017
