Member, Enhancing Cultural Attunement Team, Montana State University Project TRACS - I implement strategies at Montana State University to increase recruitment and retention of female and minority faculty. My role is primarily in training faculty search and promotion and tenure committees and faculty equity advocates to understand and mitigate implicit bias, as well as to train search committees in active recruitment techniques to achieve broad and deep applicant pools. MSU has gone from hiring 80% male faculty to 50% male faculty since we began this program. I run about 15 training sessions each year. Zale June 2011 December 2017
