Hawaii Cooperators

A mix of reef fishes investigate a stationary camera placed on the fore reef at Kealakekua, Hawaii Island.

The Hawai'i Cooperative Fishery Research Unit is a partnership of the U.S. Geological Survey, the University of Hawai'i System, the Hawai'i Department of Land and Natural Resources, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Representatives from this partnership meet annually at the Unit Coordinating Committee Meeting to identify cooperator needs, set research priorities, and to discuss the direction of the Unit.
