Biography

Preston is stationed at the Texas Tech - Junction campus. His research focuses on evaluating the fitness and physiological performance of Guadalupe bass relative to Guadalupe bass X smallmouth bass hybrids. He is also conducting research on the population dynamics of Guadalupe bass in the South Llano River as well as the reproductive ecology of centrarchid fishes (sunfishes and basses) in that system.
