Biography

Matt is from Hyattsville, MD, a suburb of Washington, D.C. He graduated from Penn State with a B.S. degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. Prior to coming to the NY Coop unit, Matt worked in the game bird division of the Pennsylvania Game Commission. He also worked on a grassland songbird project for Penn State. In his free time, Matt enjoys hiking and bird watching. . Matt is researching the spatial ecology of black bears in NY under the advisement of Dr. Angela Fuller.
