Hilary obtained her B.S. degree in fisheries management from the University of Wisconsin-Steven's Point. She is currently completing her Master's degree studying the physiological ecology of pallid sturgeon in the Missouri River.
Her future teaching interests lie in outreach programs in the form of hands-on clinics, guest lectures, and community service projects.
She is currently researching Pallid Sturgeon. Other current research interests are large river ecology and fish physiology.
