Biography
Ryan Andvik grew up in North Dakota and Minnesota's Red River Valley. He received a bachelor's degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from South Dakota State University. In the spring of 2009 he joined the Wisconsin Cooperative Fishery Research Unit. His research is focused on gaining a better understanding of the proportional stock harvest of lake whitefish in the Lake Michigan commercial fishery. In his spare time, Ryan is often found fishing the Wisconsin River for walleye and channel catfish, listening to music, and playing cards.
