Biography
Cori Brauer was born and raised in North Reading, MA. She studied Biology at Drew University where she discovered a fascination with animal behavior and communication in particular after completing an undergraduate thesis in ultrasonic communication in rats. She has worked as a lab assistant at the University of Vermont, as a nature camp counselor for Mass Audubon, and as a live-in intern at a wildlife rehabilitation center in Connecticut before becoming a student in the Coop Unit at the University of Vermont. Now she is studying ways of implementing automated acoustic units as a means of remotely monitoring amphibian populations.. Animal Behavior Animal Communication Conservation
