Biography
I am originally from Brazil and hold a degree in Biology from Mato Grosso do Sul State University (UEMS). During my undergraduate studies, I began working in fish ecology, focusing on the trophic and reproductive ecology of Pantanal fish. I earned a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences from the Federal University of Grande Dourados (UFGD), where my research focused on the relationship between parasites and their fish hosts in fish farms. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at Maringá State University (UEM), with my thesis focused on fisheries in the Itaipu Reservoir and its upstream areas. I am also currently an exchange researcher at Mississippi State University, where I am developing a chapter on migratory species in Itaipu.
