Biography

Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, I earned my B.S. in Environmental Biology from Clarion University. After graduating, I worked as an invasive plant management intern with American Conservation Experience at Moores Creek National Battlefield. I then served as an AmeriCorps member with Trout Unlimited’s Western Maryland Initiative. With Trout Unlimited, I assisted in livestock exclusion and stream restoration projects, and I monitored stream health pre and post project. I also assisted the Maryland DNR with brook trout surveys in Western Maryland. I am now pursuing a master’s degree at MSU, where I am looking at the species distribution of invasive carp in the oxbow lakes of the Lower Mississippi Alluvial Valley.
