Biography

I joined Penn State University during Fall 2021 as a research technologist. Prior to joining PSU, I was a graduate research assistant at the University of Delaware studying bobcat demographics.. My research interests include wildlife ecology, wildlife survey methodology, noninvasive sampling techniques, population monitoring, and their application to wildlife management actions.. I do not have formal teaching experience but I do enjoy educating others on wildlife research and management. In particular, I have assisted in teaching courses about wildlife survey or capture techniques including trapping (e.g., box traps, footholds, snares, clover traps, drop nets, rocket nets, etc.) and noninvasive sampling (e.g., camera trapping, scat/hair sampling). In addition, I enjoy mentoring undergraduate students working on their senior theses and new masters students starting their graduate research.
