Biography

Matt Gottlob is originally from Salem, SD where he grew up on his family farm. He attended Black Hills State University where he received his B.S. in Biology with an emphasis on Environmental Biology in 2011. Matt enrolled in the Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences Graduate Program at SDSU in January of 2013. His research project studied the application of an organic chemical to growing soybeans to deter damage from Canada geese. He anticipates defending his thesis in late summer or early fall 2021.
