Biography

Stefanie is a first-year Ph.D. student in Organismic and Evolutionary Biology at UMass Amherst and a Pathways Intern with the USFWS She received her M.S. from Clark University, where she studied the population genetics of freshwater pearl mussels in central and western Massachusetts.. Aquatic ecology, habitat assessment, environmental conservation, and population genetics.
