Biography

I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. I received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Fishery biology from Colorado State University and the University of Wyoming, respectively. My work in recent years has focused on research projects on Colorado River Native fishes, primarily Bluehead and Flannelmouth sucker, and Roundtail Chub. I enjoy fishing, whitewater boating, and both nordic and alpine skiing. . I am primarily interested in Bluehead and Flannelmouth sucker, and Roundtail Chub ecology, movement and conservation. Most of the recent research I've been involved in has been aimed at developing conservation strategies for these species.
