I am from Rochester, NY. Growing up I spent most of my summers in the Adirondacks where I found my passion for the outdoors. During my free time, I enjoy fly fishing and tying my own flies. I also enjoy bow hunting as well as waterfowl hunting.

Research Interest

My current research focuses on fish assemblage structure in the Penboscot River in response to recent dam removals. Fieldwork includes boat electrofishing surveys in the main stem of the Penobscot river as well as several tributaries. We have pre and post dam removal fish assembledge data and I am now here to do the third round of sampling ( 2nd round of post dam removal). This project is an on going project that began in 2010 as part of the Penobscot River Restoration Project.
