Biography

I was raised in upstate South Carolina and obtained my B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University. After graduating, I traveled the country working on projects studying a variety of species including sea turtles, sage-grouse, wolves, and mountain lions. My current research is focused on developing methods for black bear population monitoring in Idaho. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, and fishing.
