Biography

Will grew up in southern New Mexico, always fishing. He received a B.S. in wildlife science with a focus in aquatic ecology and management from New Mexico State University. After completion of his undergraduate degree, Will returned to work in Idaho to assist with Burbot and White Sturgeon research on the Kootenai River. Immediately following, he moved to Yellowstone National Park and worked as a fisheries technician primarily working with grayling and native cutthroat trout throughout the park. Will is currently in the laboratory of Dr. Mike Quist researching catch and release mortality of wild Snake River basin steelhead in Idaho. His free time is spent fishing and tying flies.
