Biography

I developed a passion for wildlife and the outdoors on a small farm in central Pennsylvania, spending my free time duck hunting and bass fishing on the Susquehanna River. I earned a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from California University of Pennsylvania in 2014 and spent the next four years working as a waterfowl technician for Ducks Unlimited, VA Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, MN Department of Natural Resources, and Ph.D. students from Mississippi State, Texas Tech, and SDSU. I am currently working with Dr. Joshua Stafford and Dr. Aaron Pearse on my master's degree, studying the post-fledging ecology of mallard ducks in North and South Dakota using satellite telemetry.
