I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Wildlife, Fisheries, and Conservation Biology Department at the University of Maine. I am originally from Mexico City, where I did my Master's. I am interested in population dynamics, animal movement and survival estimates, conservation, and the relationship between conservation and evolution. I also enjoy theoretical ecology and life history evolution. . Atlantic salmon smolts movement and survival.
