Biography
I am a master's student, working to improve a management technique called "head-starting" to augment recruitment in the threatened Mojave Desert Tortoise.. Applied biodiversity restoration and management, including both single-species and ecosystem level approaches. I am specifically interested in relocation, reintroduction, habitat-restoration, habitat corridor creation, head-starting, and ecosystem management.. I am the teaching assistant for Wetland Management for Wildlife, an applied management course taught by Dr. Mike Chamberlain. During my senior year at the University of Louisville, I also served as an undergraduate TA for a quantitative biology lab.
