Biography

Iam evaluating two survey techniques to determine the distribution, density, and habitat associations of an endangered marsh snail, Pecos assiminea. I will also be looking at the effects of removal of common reed on other endangered aquatic species including Pecos assiminea, Koster's springsnail, Roswell springsnail, and Noel's amphipod in a spring run planned for restoration at Bitter Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Roswell, NM.
