Biography

I earned a B.S. in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an M.S. from Kansas State University. In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, canoeing, and photography.. My current research is focused on conservation of the Northern Idaho Ground Squirrel which is a federally listed threatened species. My previous research focused on demography of black-tailed prairie dogs and assessing the presence of plague in small mammal populations (prairie dogs, golden-mantled ground squirrels, chipmunks, mice and rats) throughout various areas of the western United States.
