Biography

Growing up in the great state of Wisconsin, I became fascinated with forested landscapes at a very young age. I set out for a career in forest conservation, but ended up discovering the field of landscape ecology and soon found myself headed down a very different path. Now I'm studying native pollinator conservation by assessing what landscape characteristics aid wild bees to most efficiently and effectively pollinate crops in the Northeast US. When I'm away from school, you'll find me cooking or baking delicious treats, hiking in the Maine woods, or visiting one of Maine's 60+ lighthouses.
