I was born in Boston, MA. I pursued my doctoral degree at the University of Massachusetts where I studied the ecology of salmon. I am now a post doctoral researcher at the University of Maine.. My research interests are focused on understanding movement rates and passage success at dams for adult Atlantic salmon migrating up river in the Penobscot River.
