Hierarchy Level: Association
Type Concept: This association is described from alpine slopes of the Pioneer, White Knob, and Beaverhead mountains of central Idaho. The association occurs at the lower margin of the alpine zone on moderately steep south-facing slopes. Elevation ranges from 3110 to 3125 m (10,190-10,250 feet).
