Schoenoplectus pungens and Paspalum distichum are abundant and codominate this emergent herbaceous wetlands community. Other native wetland indicators reported from the type include Juncus saximontanus, Equisetum laevigatum, Schoenoplectus acutus, Equisetum laevigatum, Rorippa sinuata, and Typha latifolia.
