The herbaceous cover is also abundant and dominated by Cynodon dactylon, Equisetum laevigatum, Juncus arcticus ssp. littoralis, Juncus saximontanus, Schoenoplectus pungens, Muhlenbergia asperifolia, Polypogon monspeliensis, Typha latifolia, Verbena scabra, and Phyla lanceolata.
