Rationale for Nominal Species or Physiognomic Features: No Data Available
Classification Comments: This association is broadly classified to include spring runs associated with seeps. Additional data and regional analysis are needed to further refine the classification of this vegetation. Related vegetation in the High Alleghenies of Virginia is treated as ~Carex scabrata - Viola cucullata / Plagiomnium ciliare Seepage Meadow (CEGL006597)$$ and on the Blue Ridge as ~Schoenoplectus acutus - Carex lasiocarpa Marsh (CEGL006358)$$.
