Geographic Range: This association is only found on the top of the Grand Wash Cliffs (elevation 1430-1580 m) in the southwestern Grand Canyon National Park where pockets of soil have accumulated on level swales. Level areas are rare at this elevation. Further inventory may locate additional sites outside the park, especially on the Hualapi Indian Reservation.
