Biography

I am originally from upstate New York but have lived in seven states since graduating from high school. I obtained my B.S. in Environmental Studies from Montreat College near Asheville, NC. After graduating I moved around doing seasonal work for a few years. Most of that work was with salmonids on the west coast. I worked with native trout on California's Heritage and Wild Trout program and monitored steelhead and coho runs on California's north coast with the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission. Now I am pursuing my Masters at MSU and looking at what influences Silver Carp movements in an oxbow lake system. After graduation I plan on working for a government agency in the southeastern United States.
