Biography

Niall is a 4th generation Montanan and 2nd generation fisheries scientist. He received a B.S. in Fish & Wildlife Ecology from Montana State University in 2017. He is currently a M.S. candidate in Aquatic Ecology.. Niall conducts research to: 1) conserve & restore aquatic animals, 2) create new tools & techniques for fisheries scientists, and 3) understand basic questions about fish trophic ecology. He will be taking a position as a research scientist with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks in 2020. Project Title: Do Didymo blooms affect fishes in the Kootenai River basin?
