A native of Amarillo, Texas, James has an interest in avian ecology and conservation. James obtained his B.S. in Natural Resources Management from Texas Tech University. His thesis research is focusing on the avian community use of fields managed for the Mourning Dove as well as dove population dynamics in Wildlife Management Areas of Mississippi.
