Biography

Megan is from Montana where she also attended Montana State University and received her Bachelor's in Organismal Biology. Megan has had a passion for wildlife and wildlife conservation since childhood and only further fostered by the many natural treasures to be found in the Big Sky Country. In her time there she participated in the local chapter of The Wildlife Society, Breeding Bird Surveys, and assisted in research on Lewis' Woodpeckers in Montana's Bitterroot Valley. Now, she is working on her Master's evaluating the impacts of cover crops on song birds in Southeastern Iowa with Dr. Joshua Stafford in order to advise possible management strategies for the use of cover crops across the Corn Belt.
