Biography
I am broadly interested in how large-scale anthropogenic alterations of landscapes impact wildlife community distributions and interactions, with a focus on forest ecosystems and birds. I received an M.S. from the University of Washington, where I studied impacts of urbanization on competitive interactions between two wren species. I am currently working on a PhD project evaluating impacts of shale gas energy development (fracking) on regional forests and songbirds.
