I'm originally from Stafford Springs, Connecticut. My mom started me out fishing as soon as I was old enough to cast, and since then, I've enjoyed being on the water, chasing fish. I also enjoy upland bird hunting, gardening, tinkering with cars and bicycles, and computer programming. . My current research is focused on assessing fish passage at hydropower projects in the Penobscot River system.
