Biography
A native to Oregon, I received my B.S. in Biology at Eastern Oregon University in 2007. Prior to starting my M.S. in fishery science at the University of Idaho, I spent several years working with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife researching anadromous fish species across Oregon. My current research investigates movement patterns, habitat use, and distribution of westslope cutthroat trout in the South Fork Clearwater River basin. Outside of work and school, I spend time fishing, hunting, backpacking, and any activity that allows me to explore outdoors. In the winter, I enjoy instructing students to ski and snowboard.
