Wyoming Project
Identification of priority conservation areas for native aquatic species

- Wyoming Game and Fish Department
The main goal is to prioritize native aquatic species monitoring and management efforts through the designation of priority conservation areas. We will do this for fish and other aquatic species (pending data availability), which will allow us to see which areas are important for multiple aquatic taxa. Once we have identified areas we will evaluate how successful they are at addressing species-specific concerns and assess the major threats for each priority conservation area.
