Recent improvements to winter aerial waterfowl surveys in Arkansas have produced reliable information on the abundance and distribution of waterfowl in the Arkansas Delta. Over the past 4 winters, 4 aerial surveys each year were conducted. We will investigate relationships among the waterfowl abundances and distributions and associated habitat and environmental covariates. These analyses should allow land managers to better plan on strategies to conserve wintering waterfowl in Arkansas
