South Dakota Project

Evaluating wetland-ecosystem health in the prairie pothole region of South Dakota using real-time nutrient dynamics of waterfowl

July 2012 - June 2016

Personnel

Participating Agencies

  • South Dakota Dept of Game, Fish & Parks, Federal Aid in Wildlife Restoration Act.

This project will use blood plasma metabolites of blue-winged teal and lesser scaup as indicators of wetland and landscape condition.
