Current management goals for a trophy lake trout fishery in Pactola Reservoir may be ecologically unattainable, or different management regulations may be required in order to meet current goals. Toward this end, we will use population attributes to evaluate the effects of fishing mortality on lake trout harvest. Understanding effects of fishing mortality on lake trout yield will improve our ability to develop a management plan that maximizes the potential of the Pactola Reservoir lake trout fishery.
