Our primary objective is to test the feasibility of rapidly and inexpensively monitoring local temperature conditions throughout the entire Riverways and linking the information to a physical habitat classification system in a GIS to produce spatially continuous maps of stream temperature and physical habitat, and use this information to assess habitat selection of an indicator species, the smallmouth bass.
