The Ohio River supports important interjurisdictional recreational fisheries. An understanding of fish habitat use during winter is important to the management of these fisheries, and this study examined habitat use associated with tributaries, islands, and main channel habitats. This study documented winter habitat use of Ohio River fishes, providing useful information for planning and management for natural resource agencies.
